Ocean Installer’s construction crew and Equinor representatives was gathered at the Offshore Simulator Centre in Ålesund this week for co-training with bridge crew and a crane operator from Island Victory.

This Year Island Offshore once again invited all Captains and Chief Engineers to the Island Offshore Leadership conference held in Ulsteinvik. Two days packed with relevant lectures, discussions and team building!

Island Offshore has for the last few years collected all Captains for a leadership development course, developed by Jon-Rune Nygård and Symbio Consulting.  Through quarterly gatherings Jon-Rune has raised their consciousness about factors which affect quality, cooperation and the individual’s role in the business, and the aim is to strengthen the participating Captain’s skills in collaboration situations.

Bridge crew and gangway operators from Clipper took part in co-training with Equinor at our in-house training centre Vestbris, to prepare for the walk-to-work operations at Oseberg H next year.
