New Managing Director in Island Offshore

After nearly 20 years as manager for Island Offshore Håvard Ulstein will be stepping down, handing over the senior post to Tommy Walaunet, with effect from 1st of September.

“This change has been planned for some years, however we wanted to wait until the offshore market improved somewhat. We feel that now is the time,” says present Managing Director of Island Offshore Management AS, Håvard Ulstein.

Håvard Ulstein will be continuing on as Business Development Manager in the company, while Tommy Walaunet will take over the position as Managing Director of Island Offshore Management AS. Tommy has many years of experience in the company – the last few years as Deputy Managing Director.

“It has been an exciting journey with a fantastic growth since we bought our first vessel in December 1999. Tommy will ensure the continuity in the company, and I feel very confident about leaving the “Captain’s chair” to him now,” concludes Håvard.
